Redefining the limit. Working on this complex urban location involves integrating a diversity of vectors, which cross the urban mesh: Derrida’s ‘différ(a)nce’ that make the city become a metropolis. It is a border urban strip, where the Scenic and Performing Arts turns the boundary into a filter, and places the ‘voice’ to the other side of ‘Hegel’s limit’, which calls us to cross it. We will remember the experience and it will transform us like David Lynch’s ‘Lost Highway’, or the restlessness of the limit, in Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’ according to Eugenio Trias in ‘Lo Bello y lo Siniestro’.

Redefining the relationship space-object. The building spreads out to receive the Academy’s programme, like an entity between the space and the object, into a tridimensional geometry that merges the concepts of the interior and the exterior, the public and the private or the space and
